Sarah Doreen Morris

In Loving Memory ~
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Doreen Morris, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. On February 26th, 2022 surrounded by her family, she left to enter her eternal Home with Jesus.
She is deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, Bob Morris. Bob and Doreen were married on June 1st, 1956 in Winfield and resided in Vernon at the home they built near Kalamalka Lake.
Doreen was born on August 20th, 1932 in Tees, Alberta and was a sister of eleven siblings.
She is survived by her loving husband Bob, her daughters; Brenda and Barb, her grandchildren; Bob, Leanne Murphy (Keiron) and Brenda, three great-grandchildren, her sisters; Lavern Hislop, Betty Flinn (Stewart), Carol Rath, Marilyn Lanz (Gene), Margaret Johnston (Brian), her brothers; Charles Crown (Trean) and David Crown (Elaine) along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; Byron and Leora Crown, two brothers and two sisters.
Doreen worked in the hospitality and grocery industry until she retired to pursue her love of gardening, her children and grandchildren. She loved traveling, fishing and camping in their RV. Doreen always looked forward to extended family gatherings to visit with her siblings and their families. She was a member of Community Baptist Church.
Precious memories linger on.
A Worship Service in Doreen's Memory will be held at Community Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022 at 2 pm with Myron Crown officiating.
