Saul Elton

EKSlaoturodln After a courageous battle with cancer, Saul Elton passed away

peacefully with his family by his side at the Hospice House in

Vernon on Friday, July 18, 2008. Saul was born to Dorothy and

Harold Elton on Aug. 22, 1960 in Central Butte, Saskatchewan.

In his 47 years, Saul had an amazing life as an adventurer,

father, artist, master carpenter, musician, entrepreneur, and as

an avid student of spirituality and culture. One of Saul’s

passions was traveling, and his many journeys took him

through Asia, Africa, Europe, Canada, North America, and

Central America.

Saul will be forever loved by his spouse Angela Roy, and his

two beautiful daughters Jahnayna Elton (11 yrs.) and Atisha

Elton (14 yrs.). Saul‘s memories will also be dearly treasured by

his brothers and sisters; Oralie Elton (Erwin Krieg), Iris

Balcombe (Gary Balcombe), Lowell Elton (Pat Elton), Gilbert

Elton (Karen Robertson), along with many nieces, nephews,

and extended family. Saul’s quadrillion friends span the globe

and they will always love and cherish their memories of him.

Saul was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Dorothy

Elton, his brother Kevin Elton, and his niece Shawna Elton-

Stadius.

The family wishes to extend their grateful appreciation to the

healthcare practitioners, and the Hospice House for their

special care. As an expression of love, and in lieu of fl owers,

those who wish may donate to Hospice House, 3506-27th

Avenue, Vernon, B.C. V1T 1S4.

A celebration of Saul’s extraordinary life will be held at

Trinity United Church, 3300 Alexis Park

on Wednesday July 23 at 2 pm.
