We regret to announce the sudden passing on November 23, 2003 of SHELLY LEA WEYLAND at the age of 40 years. Shelley was born April 30, 1963 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. She traveled extensively throughout her childhood with her military family. In 1990 she moved to Armstrong where she has resided since. Shelley will be missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Predeceased by her younger brother Martin and her maternal grandparents and paternal grandfather, she is survived by her three children, Kyle of Calgary, Mitchell and Camilla of Armstrong; grandmother Louise Chute of Edmonton; parents Gerald and Loraine Chute of Armstrong, sisters and brothers Lorrie Chute of Calgary, Gerald (Sabine) of Edmonton, Kelly (Tracy) of Calgary, Andrew (Emily) of Edmonton, Thomas (Sarah) of Montreal, Jennifer (Randy) Inglis of Edmonton and Sarah (Shane) Ellis of Edmonton; also survived by Stephen Weyland of Salmon Arm, as well as a large and loving extended family. Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 27, 2003 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in Vernon, with interment following at the Armstrong cemetery. Because of Shelley’s loving and generous nature, friends wishing to do so may make donations in the memory of Shelley to the Armstrong Food Bank or a charity of their choice. Funeral arrangements were provided by Mountain View Funeral Home in Armstrong.
