Shirley Caroline Price

April 25, 1966 - May 23, 2019
After a three year battle with cancer, Shirley left this world and went into the arms of Jesus.
Shirley was born in Langley, B.C. to Leonard and Muriel Wiens, baby sister to Ken (Linda), Evie (Trevor), Maryann (Gary) and Larry (Deb); moved to Vernon at the age of six and called it home ever since.
Shirley met her sweetheart, Rick Price at a pig roast of all places, and soon after married him in 1988 to enjoy...and at times endure...31 years of marriage. Through this union Shirley became daughter to Paul and Anne Price and sister to Debbie (Keith) and Randy.
One of Shirley's greatest joys in life were her daughters, Kelsey (Brayden) and Shelby; and grandbaby, Rosie. Shirley was a gentle presence and was loved by all who met her. She was blessed to have the amazing care of her husband, Rick and later, the caring staff at Vernon Jubilee Hospital and Hospice House. We, Shirley's family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Gavin Smart for his dedication to giving Shirley and all of us the best care possible.
Celebration Of Shirley's Life will be held at the Vernon Alliance Church on Sunday, June 2nd, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. Shirley held such beautiful faith and although she will be dearly missed, there is a peace in knowing that she has found freedom in Heaven.
