Another leaf has fallen from the family tree. It is with love, memories and tears we announce the passing of Stan Lefebvre of Armstrong, B. C.
After surviving 19 years of cancer and more recently dementia he passed away on the 22nd of April, 2016.
Stan was born on the family homestead in Spalding, Saskatchewan on the 19th of September, 1938, the third child of Rose and Paul Lefebvre.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Isabel and his four children Tracey, Sheri, Dean and Jodi and their spouses. Stan is survived by 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters, one uncle and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Stan was predeceased by his parents Rose and Paul Lefebvre, infant twin daughters, one grandson, brother and sister.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hardy, Dr. Blyth and the nurses at the Vernon Cancer clinic. Our thanks also go to Dr. Viljoen, the staff of Vernon Hospice and the staff of Parkview Place.
In keeping with Stan’s wishes there will be no formal service. His ashes will be scattered at a later date at the family cabin at Anderson Lake which he dearly loved.
