STEPHEN BAINBRIDGE INGLIS, age 78 years, passed away at Vernon on Tuesday, November 30, 2004, due to complications from Parkinson’s disease. Born at Winnipeg, Stephen grew up in Rosebank, Manitoba. He moved with his family to Vancouver in 1941 where he completed high school and received his Teaching Degree from UBC. Stephen taught at Fort Fraser and Armstrong, retiring in 1974. A resident of Armstrong for the past fifty years, Stephen enjoyed his work, the outdoors, sports, reading and lively discussions. He will be lovingly remembered by wife Mildred of Armstrong; brother John (Sheila) of Surrey, cousin Peggy Moor of England and many friends. Predeceased by brother David and parents. A Memorial Tea will be held at 2445 Keevil Road, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2004. Donations in Stephen’s memory may be made to Armstrong Spallumcheen Environmental Trust, c/o Valley First Credit Union, Armstrong Branch.
