SHARMAN
On Monday, April 7, 2003, Sybil Margaret Sharman, aged sixty-six years, passed away peacefully at home, after a brave fight with cancer. Sybil was the wife of Jim Sharman of Sorrento; loving mother of Chris (Donna) Newel of Princeton, Ken (Cathy) Newel of Calgary, Gord Newel of Calgary and Laura (Randy) Kowalchuk of Penticton. She will be sadly missed by ten grandchildren, brother Roy (Wilma) Wright of Edmonton, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Born at Calgary on Sunday, March 21, 1937, Sybil had lived at White Rock, Enderby, Armstrong and Sorrento. She was very active in her church all her life and lastly at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Sorrento. Sybil’s positive outlook on life was a constant inspiration to the people around her. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 11, 2003, at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Sorrento. Reverend Art Turnbull officiating. A tea will be held at the Church following the service.
