Jun 29, 1972 - Mar 17, 2018
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tanya Leigh Erickson (nee Mytron) on March 17th at the age of 45.

Tanya was born June 29th, 1972 in Fort St. John, BC. After marrying the love of her life, Blake Erickson in 1995 they resided in the North peace for a number of years before moving to Blake's hometown of Sicamous. Tanya loved Sicamous and worked for many years as a server at Moose Mulligans. She was vibrant, outgoing, social girl who was loved by all.

In 2012 Tanya lost her husband Blake and the following year was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, which caused many complications. She fought hard for the past 4-1/2 years to regain some mobility and independence, with the help of the amazing staff of Meridian Rehabilitation.

We would like to extend our thanks to Vernon Jubilee Hospital, Polson Residential Care and most recently The Hamlets of Vernon.

Tanya lost her battle due to a severe case of double pneumonia.

She is survived by her sons, Brandon and Tyler of Sicamous, BC and Brodie of Taylor, BC. Father, Mel Mytron (Bev) of Vernon, BC, Mother, Heather Burvold (Les) of Taylor, BC and a large blended family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 31st, 2018 at 1 pm at the Schubert Center, 3505-30th Avenue, Vernon, BC.
