TAYLOR VAN DIEST

Taylor Jade Van Diest

It is with the heaviest of hearts and utter disbelief that we, her loving family are announcing the sudden and tragic death of our daughter and sister Taylor. She was a recent grad of Pleasant Valley Secondary School. Her years there were enjoyed, particularly her music classes. Taylor was involved with the jazz band, blues, and the junior and senior band. She was very fond of her music teacher, Jim Howie. She was devastated when she learned that he was no longer going to be teaching at the high school. Music was a large part of Taylor’s life. Taylor was truly loved by many. It was the people closest to her heart that had the privilege of knowing what a beautiful, gifted, witty, and loving woman she had become. Taylor hadn’t yet decided on a career choice, but she would have made us all proud of whatever path she would have travelled. She will be missed by all of us. A special thank you to Colton and Zoe for sharing our final moments with Taylor. She felt your love.

Service of remembrance will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Hassen Memorial Arena, 3315 Pleasant Valley Road, Armstrong, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Pleasant Valley Secondary school music department, 2365 Pleasant Valley Rd., Armstrong, B.C. V0E 1B2. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.myalternatives.ca.
