Edward (Ted) Koski 1940 ~ 2007
The family of Edward Koski (Ted) are sad at his passing on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, after a short stay in the Vernon Hospital.
Ted was born in Salmon Arm, BC on December 10, 1940 and spent his childhood in Lumby and later Vernon.
Ted is predeceased by his parents, Eric and Eileen Koski, his daughter Kelly and his grandson Cole.
He is survived by his sister Bev McCulloch, his brother Merv Koski, his granddaughter Coti, his nieces Juli, Lori, Dani and Cindy, his nephew Kevin and his many great-nieces, nephews and friends.
Ted’s passion in life was hockey and baseball and as a young man played for local teams in Vernon and Lumby.
Ted traveled his own road in life and in the past several years he turned a corner that led him to a happy place sharing special time with his loving sister and her family.
Nothing can express his life better than the words of the famous song:
And now the end is near
And so I face the final curtain,
My friends, I’ll say it clear,
I’ll state my case of which I’m certain.
I’ve lived a life that’s full, I’ve travelled each and evr’y highway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way.
We will miss you Ted.
