1962 - 2017
It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Teri Jean McGrath on June 4, 2017 in West Kelowna, BC. She was born August 18, 1962 in Armstrong, BC.
Teri graduated from PVSS and was in the insurance industry during her working years. She will be remembered as being fiercely independent with a cheeky sense of humour. Spending time with friends, family and her dog River, were her favourite past times; as well as playing golf and travelling to warm beaches.
Teri is predeceased by her mother Phyllis Brett and she is survived by her father Alvin McGrath, daughter Bobi (Manny) McGrath, sons Michael (Jessica) Jabalee and Mathew (Shay) Jabalee, brothers Brian (Deborah) of Calgary, AB and Shawn Brett of Turner Valley, AB and sisters Brenda (Lee) Leibel of Exshaw, AB and Shannon Brett of Kitimat, BC. Her grandchildren Parker, Aubrie, and Melia were the highlight of her life. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 3:00pm at the Odd Fellows Hall (3005 Wood Avenue, Armstrong). The service will be casual attire. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family at www.MyAlternatives.ca. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to Paws It Forward dog rescue.
