Terrence (Terry) Grannon, 73, passed away peacefully at 11:18 pm September 23, 2016 at Kelowna General Hospital. Loved ones were by his side holding his hands thru the final moments.

Born and raised in Hull, England, Terry moved to Prince George, BC in 1967 where he worked at BC Rail, Canfor Pulp and Royal Canadian Legion #43. In 1987, Terry moved to Vernon, BC where he worked at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #35 in Armstrong, BC.

Terry loved hunting, fishing, and the comradery of his friends and family. His passions in life were gardening, his pond, woodworking projects, his friends and family and a love for adventure, often saying “You have to see the end of every road.”  He was most happy when spending time with his boys and grandchildren.

He is survived by his sons Lee (Kim) Grannon and Paul (Antonette) Grannon, grandson Justin Grannon, granddaughter Kelly Grannon and brothers James (Elaine) Grannon and Tony (Linda) Grannon.

He was preceded in death by his mother Emily (Chadwick) Grannon and father James Grannon.

There will be a Celebration of Life in honour of Terry at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Branch #3557 in Vernon, BC on Saturday October 1, 2016 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles or The Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
