Theodore Arvid "Ted" Kriese

May 31, 1929 - August 11, 2019
Ted was born on May 31st, 1929 in St. Ouens, Manitoba and was called Home to be with his Lord with his family by his side on August 11th, 2019 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 90 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Lily, to whom he was married for 66 years, his children; Jenny (Jack) Kania, Barb (Rick) Davies, Lee Kriese and Murray Kriese, his grandchildren; Jason (Milann) Davies, Rachel (Mike) Stewart, Shauna (Ryan) Posnikoff and Ashley Kania, his great-grandchildren; Norah, Waylon, Oliver, Naomi and Hannah, his sister; Marge Breck along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Ted was preceded in death by his parents; Fredrich and Emilie Kriese, three brothers; Herman, Bill and Albert and by his four sisters; Christina, Nettie, Martha and Hilda.
Ted was a calm, patient man with a quick sense of humor and a strong faith in God. He had a great passion for playing musical instruments which he played at family gatherings, church and care homes. His love of fishing and the outdoors was instilled in his family and many wonderful memories were made over the years that his family will hold near and dear to their hearts.
Interment of Ted's cremated remains preceded a Celebration of his Life which will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 22nd, 2019 at 1 pm with Pastor Herb McCormack officiating. A Reception will follow in the Bethel Tea Room.
