Thomas T. (Tom) Smith

Thomas was born on October 25th, 1925 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2009 in Pleasant Valley Manor, Armstrong, B.C. at the age of 84 years.

Tom will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, Sandra Bartlett and Pamela Maxwell of Ottawa, Ontario; his nephew, Glen Smith of Vancouver, B.C.; and his cousins, Margaret Wilson and Ian Baird of Victoria, B.C., Margaret Wilkins of Edmonton, Alberta, Barbara Housen of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Ross Petty of Vancouver, B.C. and Wallace Petty of Nairobi, Kenya. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Doris of Montreal, Quebec; and his brother, Ian of Brockville, Ontario.

Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal and was part-owner of the former Mackie Nursing Home in Coldstream from 1977-1990. He resided for several years in Canterbury Court and was a long time member of All Saints Anglican Church. Tom will be greatly missed.

Cremation preceded the Funeral Service which will be held at All Saints Anglican Church on Saturday, January 9th, 2010 at 3:30 P.M. with The Reverend Canon Chris Harwood-Jones officiating. Inurnment will follow in the All Saints Anglican Church Columbarium.
