October 6, 1961 - February 6, 2020
Tim was born on October 6th, 1961 in Grande Prairie, Alberta and passed away on February 6th, 2020 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital at the age of 58 years. He died as he had lived, as one with great determination, striving with all he had to win the battle against cancer that he fought for the past two years.
Tim will be remembered by his loving wife Manuela (Whayla); his beloved mother, Anne Kopp; five siblings, Tony (Teri) Kopp, Terry (Elsa) Kopp, Katie (Ron) Yavis, Cyndi (Dave) Tetrault and Chris (Cheryl) Kopp; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and his faithful pup and companion, Gunner Sergeant Kopp. "Tiger" has gone Home and now joined his father Tony and many other beloved family members who were there waiting for him.
Tim was a faithful and dedicated member of Tolko where he worked for 37 years. He loved hunting and had a special place in his heart for Tomslake, B.C. The people there, the wildlife, sky and landscape all came together to make this a wonderful second home for Tim. He always enjoyed eating good German food and loved participating in the sport of either playing or watching hockey.
In respecting Tim's wishes, he was cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
