Toshiaki “Tosh” Ogasawara passed away peacefully in the Polson North Extended Care facility on Wednesday, January 26th, 2005 at the age of 73 years. Tosh worked for 30 years with Canadian Pacific Railway. Tosh is survived by his loving wife Bev of Vernon, one daughter Sherry (Mark) Ogasawara of Prince George, B.C., one son Ricky (Dionne) Ogasawara of Vernon and seven grandchildren. Tosh was predeceased by his parents Yoshitomo and Katsu Ogasawara, one brother Hiroshi (Hip) and one sister Nagako Ogasawara. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 31st, at 2:00 P.M. from the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Sensei Yasuhiro Miyakawa officiating. Cremation will follow. A reception will be held the Pleasant Valley Tea Room.
