Tracey “Trace” Roger Sivertson
Dec 16, 1962 ~ February 27, 2006
Trace as he was affectionately known by those who loved and knew him, passed away suddenly Monday at his home. He leaves to mourn his passing the love of his life, his best friend and wife Shirley, her daughters Shelley Tubbs (Darryl), Darcee Bongers (Dennis) and his cherished grandchildren Riley, Jesse, Dayten and Danika. He is also survived by his parents Wilf and Leona Sivertson of Saskatoon, Sask., his brothers Scott (Robin) of Smeaton, Sask., Cory (Laurie) of Victoria B.C., Kelly (Linda) of Winnipeg and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Trace was born in Outlook, Sask. and raised in the Saskatoon area, where he learned his work ethics. He worked for the railway for 10 years in Saskatchewan, then in Abbotsford B.C. After meeting Shirley, they moved to Armstrong, buying acreage and opening his business ‘The Great Canadian Oil Change,” where his customers and business associates appreciated his honesty and knowledge and he was greatly trusted. Trace loved fishing and camping, making time for his Canucks games. He worked on his farm, remodeling and fixing and was always available to lend a helping hand to others. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in Armstrong, B.C. on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. Cremation. We will all miss this dear person, who left us far too early. Donations in memory of Trace may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Armstrong Unit PO Box 86, Armstrong, B.C. V0E 1B0. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mountain View Funeral Home 546-8294.
