Dec 10, 1988 - Mar 4, 2018
With great sadness we announce the death of Travis B. Squair, age 29, of Lumby, B.C., who passed away in a snowmobile accident on Nelson Mountain on March 4, 2018.

Travis was born on December 10, 1988 in Vernon, B.C, was a husband, father, son, brother, and a friend to many. He operated Squaw Valley Ranch with his father, and when not spending time with his family, or working on the ranch he was either snowmobiling (or some other activity with a motor) or tinkering in his shop.

Although Travis's life was short it was full of friendships, love, and excitement. His passions included his family, snowmobiling, "improving" things in his shop and working with his father on the family ranch. Due to Travis's charismatic, kind, and generous nature people tended to congregate to him even though he lived in the "middle of nowhere", as some people referred to it. Travis's personality brought many people up to his house and to his parent's dinner table after a long day on the mountain or in the shop.

Travis is survived by his wife of 4 years, Katie Squair, their 5-month old daughter Olive, his parents Darrell and Doris Squair, his siblings and their partners Brett (Kaitlin) Squair, Jane (Jesse) Crebo and Trenton Squair (Amy Castell), his in-laws Myron and Linda Jorgenson, Tait Jorgenson, Jena Jorgenson (Ian Marshall), and Edie Jorgenson, and too many friends to count.

There will be a service held at the White Valley Community Centre on March 17, 2018 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please donate generously to the Vernon Search and Rescue www.vernonsar.ca.
