In Loving Memory ~
Troy Royce Charlton was born a Northern boy, in Fort St John, BC on March 10 1969, "a 69 Baby" he always called himself . He was wise and kind, beyond his years. Troy was also a born communicator who shared his life experience at every opportunity.
He wrote, he acted, he painted. He was a creative. That was why he was here. To be heard. To live, and to share it all. He passed into a better place on April 21, 2022.
He was my sweet friend and loyal loving companion for 19 years. He was the most honest person I ever knew. He will follow his heart back to the Peace region. I can see him on his Pinto pony at "The Point" overlooking the Peace River. Among the tall trees. There he will find peace.
He loved his family deeply and stayed in touch with his loving mother Dawna, sister Jada and family, his forever friends here and there, specially Steve and Larry and departed friend Dennis, and his aunties and uncles and cousins. Troy always liked and talked about Mr Boland, his teacher and cadet leader.
His father Terry and Grandfather Pickell, who both went before him will welcome him and birds will sing their joy.
He was loved by Linny, and her sons Jake and Luke who knew him well, family friend Nina, and long time friend Phil who kept Troy's much-loved truck humming happily forever.
Special thanks to the Mental Health Community in Vernon, all of whom Troy made a part of his life, to an old departed friend Rod Spruston, new social workers Lance and Tracy who spent time with him, and listened too. Special thanks to the Geates family for their kindness and support,
We will celebrate his life at special time, to be arranged.
