It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Urazovsky on November 5th, 2016 in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Victor will be lovingly remembered by his wife Raya; his children, Serge (Irina), Alex (Alla), Svetlana Lutsenko, Fred (Val) and Tanya (Boris) Prohoroff; his son-in-law, John Filipenko; seventeen grandchildren; his sister, Luba (Boris) Sorokovsky; as well as numerous nieces; nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Feodor and Anna; one daughter, Natasha Filipenko; one son, Greg; two sisters, Vera Svetlichny and Feshia Tenikoff; and two brothers, Fiodor and Ivan Tenikoff.
Victor had an extraordinary love and devotion for his family and all who crossed his path, always putting others before himself. He was a man of strong faith, a true servant of God. He had many interests and hobbies but his greatest passion was in serving his Lord and Saviour through music, choir conducting and singing. All who had the honour of knowing him will remember him for his limitless love, generosity and hospitable heart.
The Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Funeral Chapel on Thursday, November 10th, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. with interment following in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
