Enderby resident, Victoria Vandermeer, aged sixty-nine years, passed away at Shuswap Lake Hospital, Salmon Arm, on Sunday, April 15, 2007. Victoria will be sadly missed by son Raymond (Rhonda) of Blind Bay; grandchildren Michael and Jessica Poirier of Enderby and Barry Poirier of Kelowna; sisters Olga (Roger), Adeline, Phyllis and Joyce (Murray); nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by husband Dirk in 2006, daughter Donna Poirier in 1991, sister Gloria in 2003, and parents. Vicky was born in Manitoba on July 13, 1937. In 1943 her family moved to the Lower Mainland of BC where Vicky met Dirk and they were married in 1956 then in 1963 moved to Enderby. Vicky loved her family, she raised her three grandchildren after retiring, enjoyed people, animals and was a wonderful homemaker. She will be ever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2007 at St. Ann’s Catholic Church Hall, Enderby.
