In the early hours of November 25, 2009, only a few days after her 90th birthday, our Mother passed away peacefully into the kingdom of heaven.

She is lovingly remembered by her family which include siblings Verne, Doris, Virgil and William; children James (Dona), Jack (Alaine), Dan (Wendy), Michael, Donna (Claude) and Debbie (Gerald); grandchildren Kelli, Shae, Kevin, Kimberley, Clayton, Chelsea, Crystal, Arlene, Dustin, Lindsay, Michael Jr., Robyn, Trevor, Landyn, Dylan, Scott, Christopher, Kathryn, Patrick; great-grandchildren Sydney, Devyn, Sailor, Josephina, Ciara, Cassandra, Tabatha, Kaileigh, Liam, Mason, Jacob, Bronwyn, Gabriella, Ocean and Trevor Jr.; great-great-grandchild Payton. Predeceased by siblings Raymond, Gladys and Maxine; son Trevor “Rocky”; grandchildren Barry and Carson.

Mom and Dad raised their family in Prince George and later Mom retired in Vernon 23 years ago. She spent the last 6 1/2 years as a resident at her beloved Abbey Field with Kathy and her friends.

Thank you to Dr. Pritchett, Abby Field and Hospice House for their generous care of our dear mother (gramma).

A Celebration of Life will be held at Abbey Field on Mothers Day 2010.

A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam

And for a brief moment her glory and beauty belongs to the world

But then she flies again and though we wish she could have stayed

We feel blessed to have known and loved her.
