VIRGINIA “GINGER” GRACE

DINNEY

We regret to announce the death in

Vernon Jubilee Hospital on July 2, 2008,

of Virginia “Ginger” Grace Dinney at the

age of 82 years. Ginger was a lifetime

member of the Pythian Sisters. She was

predeceased by her husband, Claude,

in 1995. Ginger is survived by three

daughters; Sharon (Paul) Whitehead of

Vernon, Maureen Dinney of Aldergrove,

and Sandra Dinney of Abbotsford;

son Wayne (Marilyn) Dinney of Prince

George; 6 grandchildren and 10 great

grandchildren; one sister Ruth Rickson

of Kamloops; sister-in-law Ellen Smith of

Kamloops; brother-in-law Bill Tames of

Kamloops; numerous nieces, nephews,

and extended family. A Celebration of

Life Service will be held on Monday, July

7 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pleasant

Valley Funeral Home with Mr. Brian

Jackson offifi ciating. In lieu of flfl owers,

donations in memory of Ginger may be

made to the Arthritis Society of BC and

Yukon Division, 200 – 1645 West 7th

Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6J 1S4.
