Walter Chudyk

Walter Chudyk passed away at Armstrong on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at age 72 years. Wally will be lovingly remembered by wife Barbara “Bunny” of Armstrong, sister-in-law Gwen, two daughters Kathy (Bruce) of Falkland and Vicki of Vernon; three sons Marty of Winfield, Bill (Nancy) of Vernon and Terry (Colette) of Edmonton; fifteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. Wally lived in Armstrong and Vernon before moving to Falkland where he resided for twenty years until September 2006, when he returned to Armstrong. Wally was in the RCAF as an aircraft weapons tech and then worked as a horse trainer, farrier, carpenter, Electrolux salesman and a general “Jack of all Trades”. He enjoyed raising horses and dogs and loved spending time with family and friends. A Celebration of Walter’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 35, Armstrong on Saturday, June 9, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements in the care of Personal Alternative Funeral Services, 546-7237
