It is with heavy hearts we have to announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, step-father, brother, uncle and friend, who has left us far too soon.
Randy passed away at Hospice House in Vernon following a short but courageous battle with cancer. Randy is survived by his wife, Deanna; his three children: Britney, Chelsea, and Brandon; his sister, Monika; Deanna's children: Rebecca, Greg, Danielle, Scott, their spouses and children.
Randy was born in North Vancouver. He attended BCIT and began, at a young age, his illustrious career in business. Starting in banking and moving on to car business where he worked in management for many years, Randy then became a successful consultant for Automotivaters. His business ventures took him all over the world, mainly New Zealand. Randy can be remembered for his outstanding work ethic and charismatic sense of humour. He loved to golf, spend time on the water and lay in the sun. Randy's playful, kind and loving spirit persisted until the end. He will be deeply missed by all of us.
We would like to thank the VJH staff, Dr. Borchert, and the caring staff at hospice for making Randy's last few months comfortable and peaceful.
The Memorial Service will take place at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. A reception, refreshments and fellowship, will follow at Randy and Deanna's home.
