Walter Zwahlen


Mr. Walter Zwahlen passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Friday, June 30th, 2006 at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Olga, to whom he would have been married for 50 years on August 1st, his children; Rose (Clayton) Prince of Kelowna, B.C., Joan (Jim Campbell) Backer, Wally (Carolyn McCurdy) Zwahlen and Sharon Zwahlen, all of Dawson Creek, B.C., three grandchildren; Brittany, Michael and Steven, two sisters; Martha (Hugo) Huggli and Hiedy Rieder, both of Switzerland and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his brother, Hans Zwahlen. Cremation preceded a Celebration Of Walter’s Life which will be held at his home, the place that he loved so very much, 3257-Salmon River Bench Road, on Friday, July 7th, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. with Mr. Brian Jackson officiating.
