The family regret to announce the death of Warren Dale Seabrook on April 28, 2009. He passed peacefully with immediate family by his side after being challenged with cancer. He was predeceased by his mother, Eileen Elizabeth Seabrook who passed away four days prior. He is survived by his children: Sean and Jade (Brad), granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Mya, and

lifetime friend and mother of his children, Sharon. He is survived by his father, Arthur Gilbert Seabrook and brothers, Wayne (Marg) and Randy (Heather) Seabrook and their families. He was wonderful friend to many people that he also treated like family.

Warren was born April 25, 1942 in Edmonton Alberta. He graduated from Clarence Fulton Secondary and obtained a bachelor of commerce degree from University of British Columbia. His professional career included comptroller of NOCA dairy, manager of Sam’s trading post, and co-owner and sales manager of CKAL radio station. He retired from Investors Group as a financial planner in 2005, after over twenty years of service to his clients in the Vernon and Kootenay areas.

Warren enjoyed fishing, reading, computer gaming, stamp collecting, good food and good conversation. He took great pride and pleasure in his family and watching his grandchildren grow. He will be eternally missed as a loving son, father, spouse, brother and friend. Even in his final days, Warren always tried to see life through a positive lens. He helped everyone near him realize that life is precious and to lovingly appreciate the relationships that matter.

He will be forever missed and remembered with love.

Those that would like to share in a celebration of his life are invited to attend at the Schubert Center, 3505 – 30th Avenue, Vernon BC on May 9th at 6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Vernon Hospice House in his memory.
