In loving memory ~
Suddenly Monday June 6th, Wendy left our world far too soon. She was born in York, England in 1946, at the end of the war. She came to Canada as an infant, with her Mother Dorris, a War Bride & her Father Harvey. She grew up in Chilliwack, BC. Wendy married and had two sons & then life moved on & she moved to Kamloops. In 1979 Wendy became a Civilian Member of the RCMP, Telecoms 911 Operator. In 1983, Wendy met her Husband Don while working at Kamloops City Detachment. Don was a RCMP Officer who had recently transferred in. Wendy and Don were married in 1988. They were then transferred to Naniamo and Nelson Telecoms. Wendy took her Retirement in 2001. She & Don retired to a hay farm in Falkland BC. Eventually, they retired again to Desert Cove Estates in Vernon, until she suddenly left us.
Wendy was predeceased by her Parents Doris & Harvey, & Sister Dene.
Wendy is survived by her Husband Don; Step-daughters: Ginger (Marc) Grandson Callen, Amber & Grandson Rylan. Son Craig(Angela) Grandchildren: Landon, Ashlyn; Son Lee. Sister Sandi and numerous Nieces & Nephews & Families
Wendy was very Kind Hearted and such a Generous Soul! She loved her Volunteering at the Hospital. Quilting & Knitting just a bit of an addiction, that she loved to share with others.
She will be so missed, Now & Forever. In Memory of Wendy please make a donation to Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation.
