Wilfred Orland Peterman
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wilf Peterman on the afternoon of April 30, 2012 at the age of 85 years. He lived a full, happy and adventurous life.
Wilf was born on August 16, 1926 in Mawer Saskatchewan. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Louis Peterman, his two sisters, Bertha Thompson and Alice Sabra and one brother Walter Peterman.
Wilf will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mary, sister Margaret Biship (Bill) and brothers Milton Peterman (Shirley) as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Wilf was a very giving and generous person. He was a very hard worker and spent his life as a Heavy Equipment (Cat) Operator, after retiring, he was an avid hunter and fisherman.
We as his family, would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the ICU at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. Mary appreciated your extra compassion and the caring staff and facility.
In respecting Wilf’s wishes, he was cremated and no funeral service will be held. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Elks Hall 3103 – 30th Street in Vernon
on Saturday May 19th at 2pm.
