Bill Baird passed peacefully at home on Pender Island December 4, 2017 with his wife of 61 years by his side.
Bill's life was well lived snowmobiling, boating, travelling and spending time with family and friends. It is with love and admiration that we say farewell to Bill.
Bill is survived by his wife Louise, daughters Glenda Chambers, Diane Bafaro and Tracy Baird, grandchildren Marisa and Danny Chambers, Tony (Jesse), Stacie and Sean Bafaro and Justin (Danica) and Janelle (Jaden) Krabben and great-grandchildren Quinton Bafaro and Bowen Krabben.
Bill was the proud owner of Bertlesen's Plumbing and Heating (1960) Ltd. In Vernon and later Burridge's Plumbing & Heating in Revelstoke.
Bill and Louise have enjoyed their idyllic life on Pender Island for 37 years.
A Celebration of Life will be held late spring 2018 at home on Pender Island.
