Bill was released from a twelve year ravage of cancer on November 2, 2018 at 79 years of age. He lived his life with only positive thoughts and was always ready with a joke or two or his famous whistling.
Survived by his wife, Gail Witwer-Walter; elder brother, Stan (Emily); elder sister, Juliet Kaliszuk; son, Scott; daughter, Rachel (Dorsun); grandchildren: Stephen, Jordanna, Braeden. Also mourning are a niece, three nephews and their families and chosen God-Daughters: Sok Heng (Warren) and her daughters: Mealea and Morakot Goodwin, as well as many friends met throughout his 30 plus years with Electrolux.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2019. Donations if desired will be appreciated by the North Okanagan Hospice Society or the Canadian Cancer Research Society.
