It is with heavy hearts that the family of William John (Jack) McGregor announce the passing of their father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Rocky Mountain House, AB. at 88 years of age.

Jack was born in Retlaw, AB to Patrick and Mary Emma McGregor on July 6, 1932. He was raised near Chilliwack, BC and then moved to Kamloops where he met and married Victoria Terlesky. They lived in several communities in BC before settling in Armstrong in 1974. They moved to Prince George in 1985. Jack moved to Rocky Mountain House in 2012 to be closer to his son Gary.

Jack was a man of many talents. Over the years, he worked in construction, drove tanker and moving vans, worked in sawmills, and repaired dry kilns. He could be found helping his children with home repair projects. He enjoyed checking out flea markets and finding deals.

Jack is predeceased by his wife Vickie, an infant daughter, Patricia, and by his daughter-in-law, Heather McGregor.

He is survived by his four children: Sheila Nystoruk (Brian), Pat McGregor (Nancy), Brenda Fowler (Gene), and Gary McGregor; 11 grandchildren: Tyler, Ryan, Travis, Megan, Michael, Kerriann, Darren, Jenna, Kerry, Kristin, and Shannon; and 3 great-grandchildren: Lilliah, Jace, and Kaleigh; as well as many nieces and nephews.

At dad's request there will be no service but the family with be holding an informal celebration of life in his honour.
