William Rhinald Kopp
Born Jan. 23, 1921
Died Jan. 26, 2013
Bill died 13 days after the love of his life and partner Annie. He was also predeceased by his parents, sister Minnie, and son-in-law John Kukkola.
He leaves to mourn his son Brian (Carol), their children Gene (Bonnie), Vanessa, their daughter Colleen and her children Addison and Hayden. He also leaves behind his daughter Shirley-Ann and her son Roger (Cheryl) and their children Robbin and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his brother Art in Kelowna.
Bill started working at the age of 16 in a bakery and from there became a master at many things, from working in the shipyards, logging, and working on vehicles before he started working with the BC Power Commission (which later became BC Hydro). He traveled numerous miles clearing land for hydro dams and power right of ways. When he retired, he and mom traveled all over North America with friends, seeing all there was to see and catching all the fish there were to catch.
The world has lost an amazing man and he will be greatly missed.
