APRIL 20, 1932-DECEMBER 6, 2014

Bill, a longtime resident of Vernon, BC passed away peacefully from heart complications at the age of 82 years at North Okanagan Hospice. He was predeceased by his daughter Marion. Bill is survived by his loving wife Violet (Vi) of 61 years, his grandson Adam Nichols and many nieces and nephews. Bill was born in New Westminster, growing up in Pitt Meadows. In his younger years Bill worked for Fraser River Pile Driving, and then moved to Vernon in the 1960’s where he owned & operated the Hiway Market on 27th Street. At Bill’s request no memorial service will be held. Many thanks to the wonderful & caring staff at his residential care home (Heritage Square), as well as to the North Okanagan Hospice Society. Those wishing to make donations in Bill’s name can do so to the Canadian Diabetic Association.
