It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill - Husband, Father and Grandfather, peacefully in his sleep, on April 29th, 2018 in Vernon, BC.
Bill is survived by his wife Sonia, his children Donna Charney (Ron), Stewart Gulbis, and Debra King, and his granddaughters Shannon and Jamie.
Dad came to know his neighbours in Vernon, as not only friends but extended family. They looked out for him over the years, and we thank Marlene, Rocky and others for their kindness, filling his life with laughter, and including him in their lives.
As per Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held - his ashes have been sprinkled in a peaceful, beautiful park he loved and a running creek high up in the Rocky Mountains. His full obituary can be viewed in the Winnipeg Free Press published Saturday, May 19th.
