Wilma was born on Feb. 14, 1925 in Grinrod, BC to parents George and Vera Lopaschuk. She was the oldest of five children.

Wilma met the love of her life Robert Jackson while babysitting for his brothers children. She waited for Bob through the war years and when he returned they married on April 25, 1946. They had two daughters.

Wilma and Bob had acreage on B.X. Road where they lived for over 50 years. Wilma loved gardening and her flowers. She put up many jars of preserves over the years.
