Wilma Sylvia Sittler (Venne) was born in Biggar, Saskatchewan on January 27th, 1935 and died in Vernon, British Columbia on April 6th, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Don Venne, parents Mary and Charles Sittler and brother Delroy Sittler. She is survived by her siblings Rita Deck, Lorna Sharpe, Edwin Sittler, Lynda Grealish, Carol Griffin and Gordon Sittler. Wilma leaves many friends and extended family. A severe stroke in November 2015 left her unable to speak. Special appreciation is extended to the patient caregivers at Heron Grove for their kindness and compassion. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Wednesday, April 12th at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, followed by burial at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
