A glorious day

Local resident is thankful for the environment around us

As I sit here on the mountain top, balsam root begins to pop and wild geranium perfume wafts through the air while  at the newborn foals I stare, pheasants and doves sit near a tree.

I can’t believe nature’s diversity. If I am blessed, I will find some bluebirds which are in decline.

New flowers continually spring up to say, “I hope you are having a happy day.”

Cows and horses make this their home and two tame coyotes love to roam.

I can’t forget the Saskatoon berry, which dances like a twinkling fairy.

The chocolate lily will make you stare. Alas it is becoming rare.

God has created such a wonderful scene so dog and I can fulfill our dream.
