Biased article

I understand that there is an overpopulation of Canada goose in our area, and I do not claim to be an expert on humane ways of reducing this problem.

However, I found this article extremely offensive. A newspaper is supposed to be a 100 per cent unbiased way of simply stating the facts of news for the public to read.

I found this article extremely opinionated, as if it was trying to convince me to believe that killing goose eggs is the right thing to do.

I will not go into the matter of whether it is the right thing to do or not, but I will say that I think it is the responsibility of The Morning Star to ensure that all articles printed in the paper are completely neutral.

I was angered that this article was trying to convince me which side of this issue to take, and I was angered that The Morning Star allowed such an opinionated piece to be printed.

I ask that the next time a touchy issue such as this is discussed, whether submitted like this one or written by one of The Morning Star’s reporters, that great care be taken to remain completely neutral.

I do not agree with the killing of our goose population, but I am not trying to argue my point.  I am only saying that I want to read a newspaper that does not try to persuade me either way.
