Bikes vs. pedestrians

Resident says many cyclists are speeding, and do not use horns

The recent letter from A.G. Price is an issue about which more of us should be concerned.

The writer correctly stated that it is not legal to ride bicycles on sidewalks.

However, there are  a few more infractions that need to be included in this problem. Many of these cyclists are speeding, and do not use horns or some method to indicate they are barreling down on pedestrians.

As well, about 80 per cent of those who nearly mow us down are not wearing helmets.
