Cartoon in poor taste

The caricature of Jack Layton in your July 29 edition is a blatant example of schadenfreude, the pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others.

The caricature of Jack Layton in your July 29 edition is a blatant example of schadenfreude, the pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others.

It was way beyond the limits of poor taste.

It can only be viewed as insensitive and downright crude. Shame on the creator of this cartoon and shame on The Morning Star for publishing it.
