City’s works on 38th Street and 32nd Avenue totally blocked access to Charlie’s Corner store numerous times throughout construction and cutoff access from one or two directions causing severe disruption of business to my favourite convenient store. I
understand council has no intention of providing assistance and I fear it will falter, with the reasoning that the work will upgrade property value which also means increased property tax.
Logically for this year the taxes for this business should be forgiven in the interest of supporting local business.
