I have been meaning to write for a long time with respect to David Hesketh's letter, Sharing the vision for culture, July 29.
His description of what a combined art gallery, museum and science centre could be like filled me with excitement. He is a visionary and well known for his work with the performing arts centre. If you have not read or need to refresh yourself to his comments, please go online and read his letter.
I, for one, would like to see the local level politicians take a serious look at his amazing vision of what could be. Let's get behind his suggestion and do what we can do support it. What an accomplishment this would be for Vernon for many years to come.
