I often take my dogs to the Grey Canal Trail, it is a place we like to frequent as we actually get our hearts pumping and get a great workout.
The vista is breathtaking but I didn't see much of it, my eyes were looking downwards, I didn't want to step in dog poop and I don't want my dogs going near it.
I find it hard to understand why some people think its not necessary to pick up after their pet, I can't imagine what their back yards look like. To see these deposits along the way is absolutely revolting. If I didn't pick up after my dogs and you stepped in it, how would you feel, would it not bother you?
Do you want your beloved pet to pick up some deadly disease? The Grey Canal Trail is probably the only trail in this trail-less town that allows dogs, it used to be off-leash but someone up above changed that, now it is on leash only and they can change it to no dogs allowed, so come on let's not screw this up and have some respect for this beautiful land and the animals that walk upon it.
