Downtown meters

Visitor questions the height of parking meters in Vernon

We were visiting Vernon a few weeks ago. In the downtown area they have installed some new parking meters.

Did a giant install those? I have a picture of my husband who is five-foot-four standing on his toes trying to read the meter.

My girlfriend who lives in Vernon is five feet tall and didn’t have a chance.

Anyway, we thought it was comical but stupid at the same time.

Just giving someone the heads up before they put them everywhere.
