I wanted to write about our recent family experience in Vernon.
We have visited at least 30 years for a summer holiday.
You have a great place with the lakes, mountains and friendly people.
Some of our highlights are Davidson's Orchard, Okanagan and Kal lakes and the annual car show. The car show is fabulous with so many talented people behind these gems. Polson Park is an oasis which is a must see.
We would suggest reducing the geese visiting the lake beaches or at least managing their movements.
The tennis club is another must visit for me and the people are welcoming.
Vernon is a real treasure island in B.C. we love to go to because it has sun, water, fruit, nice people and it is affordable.
