Have you ever considered sharing a day with the life of a farmer?

I mean not just any day, I mean a busy day, an in-season day, a day that’s a market day.

How much time has a farmer to investigate better production, or new technology in the world of growing food? In fact, time gets valuable.

Also, improved growth hinges on resources available, and may be costly. And how many farmers are open to some great new/old methods?

Sometimes, farmers and lots of people are a bit guarded, even a lot guarded about new ideas. Now a days, it’s easy to understand why.

Have you ever considered what a major role all farmers could play regarding climate change and carbon sequestration?

On Nov. 15 at the Spallumcheen municipal office, at 4144 Spallumcheen Way, a climate smart farming symposium will be held. If you are a farmer, you are welcome to attend this event.

If you are not a farmer but appreciate this planet as does a farmer, you are equally welcome.

First come will be first served for the limited seating. Charge, is no charge or a donation would be appreciated.

Attendees can listen, learn, and ask questions until noon. Some attendees may reserve an opportunity to meet speakers in the afternoon.

I look forward to sharing exciting new discovery toward growing healthy food and a healthy planet.
