Finally, after years of brown stuff there is clear water coming from the Duteau water treatment plant.

The bad news is the plant was running at the maximum daily capacity this wet summer because the system treats domestic and agricultural water.

Do apples and hay crops really need treated water? No. The politicians need to wake up and put in a separated, non-treated water irrigation line now.

If next summer is drier, we may not have any water coming out of the taps, brown or  otherwise.
