Just say no

Letter writer expresses concerns about trade agreement with Canada and China

No to the FIPA trade deal. Let’s make sure Stephen Harper’s Conservative government can’t push this Canada-China trade deal through Parliament without a single vote or debate.

Let’s make sure China’s massive companies can’t buy up Canadian resource companies.

Let’s no longer be the victim of trade tribunals outside the Canadian court system (shades of NAFTA) and be forced to pay massive penalties for protecting Canadian interests. Let’s make sure that Canada – its people, its environment and its values – are protected.

Google FIPA but make sure you’re sitting down as it may come as a shock when you read the details of what the Harper government is about to do.

Then write your member of Parliament and protest.
