Line painting

Resident calls for improved road conditions in Vernon

Please refresh the line paint on our major roads — 48th Avenue, 25th Avenue and pedestrian crossings. So many of them are faded and nearly non-existent.

It is very difficult to see them clearly in the rain or at night.

With summer coming and tourists driving our streets, never mind the older drivers in this city, this can be a real hazard.

I have witnessed confused drivers trying to determine where the lines are late on a rainy night.

It’s something that is simple to carry out and surely in the maintenance budget.

Please ensure that everyone can clearly see their lanes to make the roads safe for everyone.
